Mintyard was founded in 2023, as a publishing company primarily in the service of inspired fiction novels and those who would write them.

The story behind the name Mintyard is rather simple. The Publisher's church has a backyard, and it was his idea to try and plant Peppermints there so that would one day they would overtake the weeds. 

Likewise, we are interested in finding aspiring authors of faith and inspiration. We would like to help them grow, and bring forth to others the creative stories that they would like to tell. 

A writer may be driven to write for a purpose, or might write for the pleasure of exercising their creative and literary talent. Whatever the case may be, our goal is to ensure that the reach of their work is able to go beyond them and make a lasting impact in the minds, the tastes, and the hearts of their readers. 

We would be blessed to encounter and promote another J.R.R. Tolkien or another C.S. Lewis. But perhaps that can be you, or it could be you that would have the honor of being an influence on the next one.

Ultimately, we wish to be pathway for anyone with a similar visionary spirit, and a stepping stone for those developing a skill in writing imaginative stories and creating awesome worlds with their words.
